Today was the first farmer’s market morning where I could pile on the wool and dig through the mitten drawer. The mittens ended up being unnecessary, but it felt really good to layer up the sweaters against the cold. I always go home with wind-burned cheeks and tired feet, but I love that at least once a week I’m actually a part of the bakery.

Drew baked through the night, caught an hour’s nap around 5am, and then spent the day working a booth with Gilbert, our miller, at the Food for Thought festival. Art & Sons was able to get a mini, two-sided version of our upcoming quarterly report printed for a handout. It turned out beautifully.

Have I mentioned how proud I am of this man?
