Man, do I love Madison this time of year. We don’t really have a spring. The days get longer and the light gets better but the weather stays miserable, cold, soggy, and you think you’ll just lose it. And then, kerplunk, it just reaches a tipping point. Like one of those Japanese water fountains. It’s summer. Everything greens overnight, the sun finds its warmth, you wake up and the birds outside are just spastic with their cheeping… exhale. Happiness.
I love that she’ll be born this time of year. Tomorrow makes six weeks left.
