Last week Mandy and I got together to do a few belated Easter eggs. I know most people call these Ukrainian, but I’ve always associated them with my own family, so to me they’re Polish. They took us a little longer than anticipated, so we each ended up doing one really detailed egg, and then Mandy did a quick job on the rest while I put Junip to sleep. I did a Vasarely inspired Op egg; Mandy went with lilies of the valley. Pretty cool, huh?
We had a scary moment when we spilled the dye and it looked like I was going to have a permanently blue counter, but we got it off. Our hands stayed colorful a little longer.
Similar to what my mom and I did last year, but with the right tools this time!
