Junip and Karin had their first little egg hunt this weekend! I think I might have had as much fun as they did, stocking and ‘hiding’ eggs. It took a little encouraging to get their collecting going, but they were pretty excited about it once they caught on.
Karin really got the whole collecting thing, but Junip figured out that some of the eggs were loaded with raisins, and proceeded to open every egg, discard it if it merely held a toy, or eat all the raisins if she found a winner. Gathering eggs was clearly secondary to gathering snacks.
Afterwards, we headed to Sheboygan for a quick visit with my parents, aunt, and sister, and this little one was showered with more love and holiday goodies. Seemed like an abrupt end to spring break (we got home Sunday afternoon and went back to school yesterday), but it was a really nice little vacation. Hope you all had a happy Easter, too!
